.Net lead Developer

Role: .Net Lead Developer Location: The Hague, Netherlands Contract : 12+ Months contract Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications using .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET MVC.Design, develop, and support RESTful APIs and Microservices-based architectures.Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams on coding standards, architecture, and best practices.Conduct code reviews, ensure coding quality, and promote adherence to SOLID principles and design patterns.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.Optimize application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.Create and execute unit test cases and support automated testing initiatives.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production incidents using structured problem-solving techniques.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.Support cloud deployments and infrastructure automation activities on Microsoft Azure.Required Technical Skills Experience in .NET application development.Strong expertise in:.NET Core / ASP.NET CoreC#ASP.NET MVCWeb APIs / REST ServicesMicroservices ArchitectureHands-on experience with:Azure DevOpsGitHub ActionsCI/CD Pipeline implementation and maintenanceStrong database knowledge in:SQL Server and/or OracleExperience with:Git and version control workflowsUnit Testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest)SOLID Design Principles and Design PatternsKnowledge of:PowerShell scriptingBicep (Infrastructure as Code)Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical problem-solving skills.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
