DevOps Engineer

Looking for a senior DevOps Programmer to support a public-sector Web Digital Office and its digital service platforms. 📍 Location: Hybrid – remote and on-site work in Prince Edward Island 📅 Contract Term: November 1, 2026 to October 31, 2027 🔄 Extension: Possible Key Responsibilities Support and optimize web-based middleware, APIs, and digital platformsMaintain CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins environmentsBuild and manage releases across multiple deployment environmentsSet up and maintain Kubernetes clusters and Docker environmentsPerform software patching, upgrades, monitoring, and production supportTroubleshoot web services, applications, and infrastructure issuesWork with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and SolarWinds Required Experience 10+ years of experience with Java, MySQL, Git, Jenkins, Linux/Ubuntu, Bash, APIs, Apache, Nginx, load balancing, testing, and container technologiesStrong hands-on experience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with software installation, configuration, system administration, and full SDLC supportStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with Drupal, MuleSoft, Alfresco, payment gateways, DNS, TLS, or government environments is considered an asset.
