Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Tampa, FL. The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software features that support Parcel Yield’s real estate network platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end services and APIs, optimizing application performance, and ensuring reliability and scalability of systems. The role also involves collaborating with product managers and designers, reviewing code, participating in architectural discussions, and contributing to technical documentation. The Software Engineer will work closely with other team members to deliver secure, maintainable solutions that enhance user experience and support business objectives. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in modern programming languages used for web applications.Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including building APIs and integrating with databases and external services.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply OOP concepts to real-world systems.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, or microservices architectures is beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Tampa, FL, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive work environment.
