Forward Deployed Engineer

Do you want to solve customer problems directly?? Do you have expertise in shipping production-grade software fast? Then this role might be for you! This small 7 person grew revenue 15x in the last year and is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with more customers. This person will build computer-use agents that automate messy healthcare operations with a smooth solution. They will embed directly with healthcare clients, scope their most painful operational workflows, and ship agents that do the actual work, then feed what they learn straight back into the platform. This role is in office 4 days a week in New York, NY. Day to day - Sit on-site with healthcare clients, deeply understand their workflows, and translate messy operational problems into agent-based solutions - Act as a forward-deployed engineer: rapidly prototyping and shipping computer-use agents (browser/desktop automation) — going from scoping to live deployment in 1–2 weeks - Own client relationships post-contract as the technical point of contact (without a PM or A) - Feed patterns and learnings from client deployments back into the core agent platform infrastructure Some things to prioritize - 2+ years experience engine as a forward-deployed engineer. 8+ years experience as a backend software engineer with direct customer facing exposure would be considered. - Work experience at a high-bar large company (Meta, Netflix, Snap, Stripe) or a high-growth startup (YC-backed, seed through Series C) - Comfortable with statically typed languages (TypeScript, Go, C++) - Comfortable talking directly to customers to scope problems Bonus: CS degree from a University with a strong Pedigree
