Responsibilities What We're looking for: Participate in the design and development of software solutionsTake ownerships of features from concept to deploymentPerform code reviews and contribute to engineering implement and guidelinesSupport diagnoses, resolve issues, and fix bugsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to complete and synchronize the software implementation cycleParticipate in a complete software development life cycle using Agile methodologiesWork independently, handle complex tasks, and contribute to projectsMentor junior engineers and interns, and offer technical guidance and feedbackIdentify areas for optimization and enhancement, and contribute to the overall quality and efficiency of the team Knowledge/Skill Requirements Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of C/C++ programming Proven experience in software development under Linux Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems Experience designing and working with scalable architectures Proven experience in socket programming, PUB/SUB and event driven architecture Solid Understanding of data structure, algorithms, and object-oriented programming Working knowledge of web technology including HTML, CSS, JS, React, PHP and database Experience with REST APIs, or web developments is a plus Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, languages and technologies Working knowledge of basic hardware components, block diagrams and schematics Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/UDP/IP), VLANs, and basic switching and routing concepts Working in a fast-paced environment with user-centered, iterative design and development process Strong communication and documentation skills Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Working knowledge of the Software Agile methodology and in practicing ScrumBachelor’s degree in computer science/software engineering/electrical engineeringPreferred 3 years of proven experience in Software Engineering to include the following:Knowledge of latest and greatest C++ and laterExperience in Linux systemExperience in high level programming languages, such as PHP, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, etc. Other Requirements May require travel up to 5% of the time to domestic and/or international locations. The hourly range of $33.17 to $55.29 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. The final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum.
