One of our leading clients is seeking to engage Python Developer / Data Engineer for Melbourne location
Please note Candidate must have Full working Rights
Initial contract duration-6 Months
Extension -Possible
Location of work- Melbourne
Working arrangements-Hybrid
Technical skills:
Core Python — data structures, OOP, error handling; pandas & NumPySQL & relational databases — query writing/optimisation, large datasets, ORMs / direct connectionsAutomation & ETL — scheduled jobs, workflow automation, Airflow / task schedulers, reporting pipelinesReporting outputs — Excel, PDF, dashboards (openpyxl, Plotly, Power BI)Engineering practices — Git, unit testing, documentation, agile, CI/CD
