Full Stack Developer - Junior Database Specialist

About the Role We're looking for a talented Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on database design and backend services to join our development team. You'll work on building robust APIs, designing efficient database schemas, and creating user-facing features. This role is perfect for someone eager to deepen their database expertise while maintaining full-stack capabilities. You'll receive mentorship from senior engineers and have opportunities to grow across the entire technology stack. Key Responsibilities Backend Development & Database Design Design and optimize MySQL database schemas, indexes, and queries for performance and scalability.Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using C# and .NET.Write efficient, well-documented code with comprehensive test coverage.Troubleshoot and optimize slow queries and database performance issues.Implement best practices for database normalization and data integrity.Collaborate with team members on architectural decisions and technical solutions. Full Stack Development Build user interfaces using Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript.Implement Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Client-Side Rendering (CSR) patterns as appropriate.Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.Document code, APIs, and database structures clearly. Qualifications Strong SQL knowledge including complex queries, indexing, and query optimization for MySQL.Experience with C# and .NET framework for backend development.Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript for frontend development.Understanding of API design patterns and RESTful principles.Familiarity with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Client-Side Rendering (CSR) concepts.Experience with relational database design principles.Version control experience with Git.Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn and grow.Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Nice to Have Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM tools.Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, etc.).Experience with Docker or containerization.Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.Experience with automated testing and test frameworks.Understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles.
