Title: DevOps Engineer with GCP & EMU (Enterprise Managed Users) Experience (only W2 Position – No C2C Accepted) Description: STG is a SEI CMMi Level 5 company with several Fortune 500 and State Government clients. STG has an opening for DevOps Engineer with GCP & EMU (Enterprise Managed Users) Experience. Please note that this project assignment is with our own direct clients. We do not go through any vendors. STG only does business with direct end clients. This is expected to be a long-term position. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those candidates who need it. Position Description: Employees in this job function are responsible for building, testing and maintaining the infrastructure and tools for software/ code development, deployment and release. They also help the organization speed up and automate aspects of the software lifecycle through a series of DevOps practices and processes Key Responsibilities: Imbibe DevOps methodology and practices across the product lifecycle for various software componentsAccelerate software releases while ensuring security and mitigating the risk of failed/ recalled software releasesEnsure increase in cycle speed between feedback from end-user to an updated software by leveraging continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous feedbackAssess current systems and processes, and identify and implement ways to improve themUtilize platform and enterprise tools and infrastructure to facilitate DevOps methodology and approachAssist code/ software releases and deployments in various environments like production, testing, sandbox etc.Identify and spearhead creation of automation and innovation opportunities throughout the software product lifecycle Skills Required: GitHub, Continuous Improvement Process, Jenkins, Java, API, PythonKubernetes, GCP, Google Cloud Platform, Docker Experience Required: Must have 3+ years’ experience supporting and managing with Github.com EMU platformMust have good understanding of CI / CD pipeline including Jenkins, GitHub ActionsMust have scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Java/SpringBoot or Python to automate processNice to have: AI / ML bot and security, MCP server Experience Preferred: Proactively monitor support tickets and collaborate with customers to resolve GitHub platform and integration-related issues efficientlyDemonstrate flexibility by collaborating with global teams outside of standard business hours as neededAble to come to office at least 4 days a week from 8 AM to 4:30 PM EST.
