Senior Test / Quality Engineer
London (Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite)
Salary: Up to £75,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Our client, a leading specialist insurer, is looking for a Senior Test / Quality Engineer to join their London-based technology team.
This is a hands-on role focused on driving software quality through a combination of test automation, exploratory testing, and continuous improvement within Agile product teams
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement effective testing strategies across product deliveriesDesign, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and automated test suitesContribute to the development and enhancement of test automation frameworksCollaborate with Agile delivery teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLCManage defects, support root cause analysis, and drive resolution activitiesProvide guidance and support to offshore QA resources where requiredChampion best practice and continuous improvement within Quality Engineering
Experience Required
Previous experience in a Senior Quality Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, or similar QA roleStrong experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Katalon, Playwright, Cypress, or similarExperience working within Agile/Scrum product teamsExposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practicesFamiliarity with Azure DevOps and test management toolsStrong stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience within Financial Services, Insurance, or other regulated environments would be advantageous but is not essential
