Mainframe QA Automation Engineer

Job Description Mainframe QA Role Overview We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with experience in Mainframe testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in manual and automated testing, Agile methodologies, and database validation. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute manual and automated test cases and test scripts.Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.Set up and manage test data and test environments.Identify, track, and validate defects using JIRA.Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and Scrum teams to ensure quality deliverables.Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint planning and execution.Conduct database validation and analyze test results.Contribute to test automation frameworks and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.3- 5 years of experience in software QA and testing.Strong experience in functional and regression testing.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with DB2 and/or relational databases.Excellent analytical and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in financial services or fintech domains.Knowledge of data warehousing and data mining concepts.Exposure to distributed systems, online and batch processing environments.Experience with test environment and test data setup.
