What You’ll Do As a Software Engineer at Intellistack you’ll be part of the team that develops and owns identity and authentication, policy and access control, integrations, notifications, and AI services including Omni. Your work will directly contribute to platform security, enterprise customer adoption, product innovation, and business growth. Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices that support internal and external platform capabilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java and PythonBuild and enhance identity platform capabilities supporting OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SSO, and SCIM-based provisioningDevelop scalable event-driven services and integrations using KafkaDeploy, monitor, and optimize applications running in Kubernetes environmentsPartner with Product, Security, and Infrastructure teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing platform servicesParticipate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and engineering planningTroubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement durable solutionsContribute to CI/CD pipelines, observability practices, and engineering automation initiativesLeverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity, quality, and delivery velocity What We’re Looking For 3+ years of professional backend software engineering experience developing backend or platform servicesStrong proficiency in Java and Spring BootExperience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservicesWorking knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SSO, and SCIMExperience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar messaging technologiesFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformStrong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, observability, and CI/CDExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Bonus Points Experience deploying and supporting applications in Kubernetes environmentsExperience integrating with Okta, Auth0, Ping Identity, or KeycloakExperience building enterprise SSO, SAML, or user provisioning solutionsFamiliarity with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code practicesExperience with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Grafana, or similar observability platformsExperience working in a SaaS product environmentExperience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity Why You’ll Love Working Here We move fast.
