Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will take part in the design and development of internal tools, workflow automations, and AI-powered applications that support internal offerings and sales enablement. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who is equally comfortable building backend services, designing integrations, and delivering polished user-facing tools. You will work closely with data scientists and cross-functional stakeholders to turn ideas into reliable production systems. What You’ll Do Design, build, and maintain internal applications, automations, and AI-powered workflowsDevelop backend services and APIs in Python, Java Script (Node) and/or related technologiesBuild user-facing tools and dashboards using ReactIntegrate LLMs and external services into business workflows using platforms such as OpenAI, Gemini, AWS, and GCPPartner with data scientists to productionize prototypes and analytical solutionsImprove the architecture, reliability, testing, observability, and deployment of team-owned systemsWork with stakeholders across business, operations, and sales to understand pain points and translate them into practical solutionsIdentify opportunities to automate repetitive work and streamline internal processesEstablish engineering best practices for code quality, system design, CI/CD, and documentationMentor other engineers and help raise the overall engineering bar of the team What You Bring Solid commercial experience in software engineering, with strong focus on building production systemsStrong backend engineering skills, ideally in PythonExperience building modern web applications with ReactExperience designing and consuming APIs, integrating third-party services, and building automation workflowsSolid understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalable application developmentExperience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or AzureExperience with containers, deployment pipelines, and engineering best practices in production environmentsFamiliarity with LLM-based application development, including tools and APIs such as OpenAI, Gemini, or similar platformsAbility to evaluate where AI is useful in a workflow and where traditional engineering patterns are the better solutionStrong communication skills and the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholdersProven ability to move from ambiguous business needs to working software Nice To Have Experience with workflow orchestration and automation toolingExperience building internal tools, sales enablement systems, or operational platformsFamiliarity with vector databases, retrieval pipelines, agentic workflows, or prompt designExperience with asynchronous processing, task queues, and event-driven systemsExposure to analytics, experimentation, or collaboration with data science / ML teamsFamiliarity with Postgres and other common data storage technologiesExperience with observability, monitoring, and production supportBackground in SaaS, enterprise platforms, or customer-facing solution engineering English Level Upper-Intermediate Legal & Hiring Information Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more.Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
