Software Engineer

Full-Stack Engineer (Agentic Typescript) Location: London, Hybrid Salary: Competitive, DOE We're working with an early-stage, mission-driven technology startup using AI to help organisations modernise how they engage with supporters, manage operational workflows and make better use of their data. Their platform combines modern software engineering with generative AI to automate manual processes and improve customer experiences. This is a product engineering role with a customer-facing dimension. You'll work closely with external stakeholders as well as internal teams - understanding personas, contributing to solutions conversations, and shipping features that have a real-world impact. Responsibilities Build and ship full-stack features across the platform using Node.js and ReactDesign and build AI-powered product capabilities using modern LLMs and workflow orchestration.Contribute to architecture and technical direction in a small, fast-moving teamCollaborate closely with product teams and customers to shape features from discovery through to delivery.Work with AI coding tools (Claude Code and similar) as a core part of how you build Key Requirements Strong full-stack TypeScript - Node.js and ReactExperience building AI-powered products using LLM APIs and modern AI application frameworks.Comfortable in early-stage environments with a high degree of ownershipStrong communicator - this role has real customer-facing responsibility alongside the engineering workComfortable using AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
