Project Description:
Fixed-term SRE contractor role focused on automating and codifying release processes into reliable, repeatable workflows within a cloud-native SaaS environment.
Core focus is CI/CD workflow automation — turning manual release procedures into automated flows with integrated checks, human approvals, validators, and monitoring signals.
No on-call or incident management duties.
Onsite 2 times per month in Prague is required.
Requirements:
Hands-on production experience with workflow orchestration engines (Temporal, Apache Airflow, or equivalent) — key differentiator, real hands-on experience requiredExperience codifying release processes with human approval stages into automated workflows6+ years in SRE, DevOps, release engineering, or platform automationStrong Python or Go coding skills for automation/toolingStrong understanding of CI/CD tooling and production deployment practicesExperience with advanced rollout strategies (canary, staged regional deployments)Experience supporting production SaaS delivery pipelines and cloud-native release practicesExperience with Azure (preferred) or similar public cloud platforms
