Full Stack Developer | Dublin, Ireland | Permanent Are you a Full Stack Developer with a passion for building high-performance, real-time web applications? We're partnering with a leading global financial markets firm that is seeking a talented developer to join its technology team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the next generation of web-based trading tools used in a fast-paced, real-time environment. Working alongside software engineers, traders and operations teams, you'll help design, develop and enhance innovative applications that support real-time trading, visualisation, analytics and reporting. The Role As a Full Stack Developer, you'll play a key role in developing modern, scalable applications that directly support front-office trading activities. This role is 70% frontend and 30% backend focused. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and developing modern web applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript and Java.Building intuitive, responsive user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.Developing scalable back-end services (Java) and APIs.Working with real-time technologies including REST APIs and WebSockets.Collaborating closely with traders, operations teams and fellow developers to understand business requirements.Developing tools for trading, analytics, reporting and data visualisation.Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code.Contributing to architecture discussions and technical design.Working within a collaborative Agile development environment. About You We're looking for developers who have: At least 3 years' commercial Full Stack Development experience.Strong experience with:ReactJavaScriptTypeScriptHTML & CSSJavaExperience designing and consuming REST APIs and WebSockets.Experience using Git or another source control system.Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality software.Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders. Desirable Experience Any of the following would be advantageous: Experience working on real-time or high-performance applications.Knowledge of financial markets, trading or capital markets.Experience with KDB or time-series databases.
