Job Summary The position is a technical role responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of enterprise platforms and applications. This role partners closely with developers, data engineers, Salesforce administrators, and platform owners to design resilient systems, improve deployment practices, and automate operations across cloud, integration, and low-code environments. This position will contribute to DevOps and cloud engineering practices by supporting automation efforts, enhancing system observability, and assisting with incident response and continuous improvement initiatives. This role combines hands-on technical skills with a focus on system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency across a diverse enterprise platform landscape. Job Duties & Responsibilities Partner with application, data, Salesforce, and platform engineering teams to design and support reliable, scalable, and secure systemsMaintain deep expertise on supported platforms and services, including Salesforce, MuleSoft, Azure, M365, Informatica, and Automic, to proactively identify reliability risks and improvement opportunitiesDesign and implement infrastructure and platform automation using infrastructure-as-code and configuration management practicesBuild, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines across cloud and SaaS platformsApply and promote DevOps and SRE best practices, including automation standards, deployment strategies, and cloud architecture patternsParticipate in incident response efforts, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews to drive systemic improvementsDevelop and maintain modern observability solutions using tools such as Splunk for log aggregation, correlation, and alerting across distributed and integrated systemsAssist with the setup, administration, and operational support of AI development platforms and tools (e.g., Microsoft Foundry, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code), including environment provisioning, CI/CD enablement, and support for AI-assisted and low-code development workflowsIdentify and eliminate manual operational processes through scripting, automation, and platform engineering solutionsCollaborate with engineering teams to improve application performance, fault tolerance, and resiliency across integration middleware (MuleSoft) and data pipeline (Informatica) layersContribute to capacity planning, cost optimization, and system scalability initiativesEvaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and approaches to improve platform reliability and developer productivityDocument architecture, operational processes, and reliability standards Job Specific Skills Cloud & Platform Engineering Strong experience with cloud platforms, primarily Microsoft Azure, with working knowledge of AWSExperience deploying and supporting infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Bicep)Experience supporting and administering enterprise SaaS and PaaS platforms, including configuration, environment management, and operational supportStrong foundational knowledge of operating systems (Linux and Windows Server)Understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures, and resiliency patterns Identity, Security & Networking Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including integration with identity providers (e.g., Azure AD/Entra ID), single sign-on (SSO), and role-based access controlsFamiliarity with modern authentication and authorization patterns, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and token-based access for APIs and servicesFamiliarity with networking and security concepts for cloud and SaaS platforms, including VNET/VPC configuration, private connectivity, and secure service accessExperience managing secrets and secure configuration using tools such as Azure Key Vault or similar vault technologies DevOps & Automation Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar platformsExpertise in DevOps practices, including deployment automation, environment management, and release strategiesProficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) Observability & Reliability Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Azure Monitor, or similar platforms for log aggregation, alerting, and operational insightsUnderstanding of incident management, problem management, and reliability practices (ITIL-based or similar)Familiarity with performance tuning, system optimization, and capacity planning conceptsUnderstanding of AI-driven operations (AIOps), intelligent alerting, and automation in support of system reliability Enterprise & AI Platforms Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar systems, with the ability to support environments and troubleshoot operational issuesFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and emerging AI platforms such as Microsoft Foundry, including supporting environment setup, access, and operational considerations Education Minimum: High school diploma or GED Preferred: Bachelor’s degree - from accredited university - IT, MIS, Computer Science or related field Experience Minimum: 2 years related work experience Expand Energy takes necessary action to ensure that all applicants are treated without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, disability, pregnancy, military or veteran status or any other protected characteristic as established by law.
