C++ Developer – Manchester Manchester (Onsite) £40,000 – £75,000 (depending on experience) We’re working with a leading organisation operating at the forefront of national security and advanced technology, currently expanding their engineering capability in Manchester. They’re looking to bring in multiple C++ Developers across a range of experience levels to support the development of high-performance, mission-critical systems. This is an opportunity to work on complex, real-world problems where your code has a direct and meaningful impact. The Role You’ll be part of a highly skilled engineering team developing and enhancing sophisticated software solutions used in demanding environments. The work is technically challenging and fast-paced, with plenty of scope to broaden your skillset and work with new tools and technologies. You’ll be involved in: Developing high-performance applications using modern C++Working at a low level on Linux-based systemsBuilding scalable, robust solutions with a focus on efficiency and concurrencyContributing to the full software lifecycle within an Agile environmentTroubleshooting and supporting live systems when required What They’re Looking For Strong experience with C++ (modern standards preferred)Solid understanding of Linux development environmentsExperience working with multi-threading and performance optimisationKnowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS)Familiarity with additional tools/languages such as Python, Bash or similarExperience working in Agile teams (e.g. Scrum, Jira) Why Apply?
