Job title: Shopify Engineer Salary: £50k- £60k per annum DOE Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week Hybrid in Bradford, 1-2 days per week onsite Job title: This is a pivotal role, our Shopify Platform & Integration Engineer will support the management, optimisation and scaling of our clients’ Shopify Ecommerce platforms and marketplace channels. This role will combine strong technical expertise with commercial awareness to enhance the Shopify ecosystem, integrate third-party systems, and support expansion into new sales channels including marketplaces and dropship partnerships. Working closely with Ecommerce, Marketing and Commercial teams, this role will focus on building and improving the core eCommerce capabilities, ensuring scalable, efficient and high-performing solutions that support business growth and customer experience. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain and enhance the Shopify storefront, including custom themes, applications and functionalityCustomise Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 to deliver high-quality, responsive and performant user experiencesWork with Shopify APIs (including Storefront API, AJAX API and GraphQL) to deliver advanced functionality and integrationsBuild and maintain integrations across eCommerce platforms, marketplaces, OMS/WMS and third-party partnersSupport the technical onboarding of new sales channels including marketplaces and dropship partnersWork with systems such as Order Desk, Mintsoft and other middleware tools to enable order management, fulfilment and data flowsEnsure accurate, scalable and reliable data flows across products, orders, pricing and inventoryTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Shopify, integrations and supporting systemsUse analytics and performance data to identify, prioritise and implement website and customer journey improvementsSupport the implementation of A/B testing and experimentation initiatives across the websiteImplement UX and customer journey improvements in collaboration with Ecommerce and Marketing teamsSupport technical SEO improvements including performance, structure and optimisation best practicesWork closely with Ecommerce, Marketing and Commercial teams to translate trading and optimisation opportunities into technical solutions To be successful you ideally need to have Experience with Shopify management, front end development and integrationsExperience with Conversion rate optimisationExperience within ecommerce
