Senior Network Operations Engineer (L4) Gloucester or London (Hybrid working) Up to £80,000 + Benefits Method Resourcing is partnering with a leading technology services organisation seeking a Senior Network Operations Engineer (L4) to join a highly skilled network team supporting complex, business-critical customer environments. This opportunity would suit an established Senior Network Engineer, Technical Lead, or a strong L3 Engineer ready to step up into an L4 role. The position combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, network design input, service ownership, and project delivery. In this role you would be working within a specialist team, you'll play a key role in maintaining, improving, and evolving enterprise network services while acting as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues. Responsibilities include: Acting as the highest technical escalation point for complex network incidentsDelivering network deployment, migration, and implementation projectsSupporting and improving operational network servicesContributing to network design, architecture reviews, and technical governanceDriving service improvement and automation initiativesMentoring and supporting engineers across the wider teamWorking closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and technology partners Key Technologies: Fortinet SD-WANCisco WirelessNetskope Remote AccessVMware NSX-TEnterprise LAN/WAN infrastructureVPN and secure connectivity solutionsExperience with every technology listed is not essential. The organisation is far more interested in engineers with strong networking fundamentals, delivery experience, and service ownership than candidates who specialise in a single vendor technology.
