Responsibilities
Lead industrialization activities for new product launches from concept through serial production.Define and manage project timelines in cooperation with project management teams and manufacturing sites.Develop, monitor, and justify CAPEX budgets and engineering development hours.Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing, Quality, and Plant representatives.Ensure product manufacturability by driving process design and industrial validation activities.Organize and lead Process FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) workshops and define risk mitigation plans.Define manufacturing processes, production flows, and logistics concepts for industrial projects.Prepare technical specifications, manage supplier consultations, and evaluate supplier proposals.Lead prototype builds, pilot runs, and production trials, ensuring robust product and process performance.Coordinate the implementation and validation of production equipment, with a focus on safety, ergonomics, repeatability, and cycle time achievement.Analyze process capability and support production ramp-up activities.Manage engineering changes (ECR) throughout the project lifecycle.Drive industrial reporting activities, including KPI monitoring and monthly project status updates.Facilitate collaboration across extended project teams and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of lessons learned across projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in industrialization, manufacturing, or project management within a production environment.Strong knowledge of industrial processes, product launches, and manufacturing technologies.Experience with CAPEX management, process validation, and industrial risk assessment.Practical knowledge of Process FMEA, APQP, and continuous improvement methodologies.Experience in managing cross-functional and international project teams.Ability to work effectively with suppliers, manufacturing plants, and external stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and communication abilities.Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites and suppliers as required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools; familiarity with ERP systems is considered a plus.
