We are looking for an Vehicle Testing Engineer(Candidates should residing in Germany with valid work visa are eligible) Location: Wolfsburg, Germany Experience: 7+ Years Language: English Job Type: Hybrid Work Type: Contract Driving License: Prototype License Required No Other Please Job Description: • Protocol Testing: Deep understanding and testing of communication protocols used in automotive environments, such as CAN (Controller Area Network), Ethernet (automotive-grade), Preferred -> MOST (Media Oriented Systems Transport), and potentially wireless protocols like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cellular (LTE, 5G). • Telematics and Connectivity: Testing the integration of SXM services with vehicle telematics units. This includes verifying data transmission for features like emergency services, remote diagnostics, and over-the-air (OTA) software updates. • Hardware-Software Integration: Rigorous testing of how the SXM software interacts with the underlying hardware in various head units and vehicle architectures. This might involve working with hardware emulators, test benches, and physical vehicles. • Navigation and Location Services: Testing the accuracy and reliability of GPS and other location-based services integrated with SXM offerings. • Audio Subsystem Testing: In-depth testing of audio streaming, playback quality, and integration with vehicle audio systems • SXM feature Testing - Traffic, Media, etc.. • SXM Integration Scenarios with the IVI System under consideration
