[About HealthCare-Tech] Healthcare-Tech is a division within GovTech, forward-deployed to and collaborating closely with the Ministry of Health (MoH) family (including other agencies and statutory boards), operating like a modern product organisation to solve important and currently underserved problems spanning across Singapore's public Healthcare sector. We are seeking talented and motivated Software Engineers to join our development teams working on the above sectors. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Here are some of the products that we have built recently: Organ Donation RegistryVaping Information System (VIS)National Platform for Healthcare Claims [What you will be working on] As a Software Engineer Work closely with the cross-functional agile team consisting of Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to solicit business requirements & deliver technical solutionsCollaborate with government agencies to deliver high-quality software systemsContribute to adoption of relevant, up-to-date technologies, practices, and tools in modern software development lifecycleContribute to code reviews by offering feedback that enhances the overall quality of the codebaseParticipate in Scrum ceremonies, such as Sprint Planning, Review, and RetrospectiveParticipate in regular tech-sharing and solutioning sessions [What we are looking for] Technical Skills Experience working on reasonably large, high-availability software systems that have operated at scaleExperience in modern full-stack web application technologies; experience in modern front-end engineering on Next.Js/React.js/Nuxt/Vue.js and Java/TypeScript/Node.js/Golang on the backend is preferredExperience working with SQL & NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDBExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), Azure and/or GCPExposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes or other container orchestration toolsProficient in writing comprehensive unit and integration testsExperience with observability and monitoring tools, especially the ELK stack, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk What We Value Passion towards working for the public goodPassion towards engineering excellenceDemonstrated ability to take initiative and work autonomouslyOwnership: You take responsibility for your code - from design to production supportInitiative: Proactively identify issues and opportunities to improve the system & the teamCollaboration: Share knowledge and contribute to a healthy, transparent team cultureContinuous learning: Stay current with technologies and best practices Please note that this will be a 2-year fixed term contract.
