Reporting to the Lead Engineering Test & Quality Manager, the QA Engineer - Data will be responsible for performing manual testing of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data-driven applications. You will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and performance of data across systems, supporting business-critical analytics and reporting. So, why Costa? What you’ll do Being a QA Engineer -Data is your chance to join our exciting hub in Sofia, which means you’ll: Design and execute manual test cases to validate data transformations, migrations, and integrations.Perform data quality checks across structured and semi-structured data sources (e.g., relational databases, data lakes, APIs).Validate ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data consistency, completeness, and accuracy.Document test plans, test cases, and test results in a clear and structured manner.Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps. Who you are It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in: Hands-on experience in SQL scripting. Experience with data testing tools -ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data consistency, completeness, and accuracyComprehensive knowledge of data platform testing and its techniques’API testing experience using Postman or similar tools.Experience authoring and maintaining test documentation (test cases and test suites) and able to plan test cycles for sanity, regression, and incremental release activitiesExperience in data warehousing concepts and Azure Cloud (Azure Cloud data services such as Data Factory and Databricks) Base Salary: 34,976 - 48,092 EUR Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, experience and skills.
