Position Overview Netwrix is on a mission to help customers protect and secure their identity and data landscape through market-leading on-prem and SaaS products and integrated solutions. Netwrix Identity products provide leading identity security solutions to thousands of enterprise customers worldwide. We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer who will develop new features and capabilities for Netwrix PingCastle, leveraging and extending Netwrix’s enterprise cybersecurity platform. The Staff Software Engineer will ensure scalable, secure, high-quality experiences for enterprise customers in both on-prem and SaaS environments. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technical leader to shape the future of cybersecurity threat prevention, detection, response, and recovery. You will contribute to the advancement of our products, solutions, and key technologies, with opportunities to integrate AI capabilities into our products and AI-first development process. Working closely with senior engineers and product leaders, you’ll influence architectural direction, mentor engineers, and help deliver solutions that protect organizations worldwide against advanced identity-based threats. Key Responsibilities Write high-quality code and design scalable backend services for on-prem and SaaS environments, setting examples of technical excellence for the team and supporting key decisions on architecture, scalability, and integration approachesIntegrate data and capabilities with Netwrix’s cybersecurity product platform and other Netwrix Identity and Data protection products.Leverage Active Directory and Entra ID to identify, monitor, analyze, and report on identity security threats across hybrid environmentsPromote and optimize the use of AI tools and capabilities to accelerate Netwrix product developmentUtilize AI within Netwrix products to enable smarter threat detection, anomaly identification, and predictive analytics while ensuring interpretability and accuracyPartner with customers and customer-facing teams to triage and address customer issues, understand customer needs, and obtain feedback on product features and functionality.Collaborate across functions with product management, platform and product teams, and engineering leadership to ensure technical direction aligns with business needsMentor and support the growth of engineers while fostering a culture of innovation, security-first thinking, and technical excellence Qualifications Required Experience Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience8+ years of software development experience with a focus on enterprise softwareExperience designing and delivering on-prem and SaaS software at scaleFamiliarity with cloud platforms and SaaS security best practicesUnderstanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring/observability Technical Skills Strong knowledge of distributed systems, modular architectures, and event-driven designExperience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, ARM)Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and asynchronous communication patternsStrong proficiency in modern object-oriented programming languages and frameworks used in both on-prem and SaaS product developmentExperience with modern databases and frameworks in high-performance scenarios, such as PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Entity Framework CoreUnderstanding of Active Directory, Entra ID, or similar identity systems Leadership & Soft Skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teamsProven ability to balance technical quality with business priorities and timelinesStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex, ambiguous challengesExperience mentoring or guiding engineers in technical growth Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core/.NET)Familiarity with threat detection methodologies, SIEM concepts, and security frameworksExperience with Entra ID and hybrid cloud identity solutionsFamiliarity with machine learning applications in threat detectionContributions to open-source projects or technical communitiesExperience developing products that support both on-prem and SaaS environmentsUnderstanding of the ITDR market and solutions Our Values At Netwrix, Our Values Guide Every Action Next-Level Customer Focus -Customers first, always.
