Their software runs on hundreds of thousands of deployed devices, delivering reliable performance in some of the most demanding environments imaginable. About the Role As TrellisWare continues its expansion across Europe, they're investing in a brand-new engineering hub in Utrecht and are looking for talented Embedded Software Engineers to help shape the next generation of their platform software. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Board Support Packages (BSPs) and Hardware Abstraction Layers (HALs)Build low-level platform software for Embedded Linux and RTOS-based systemsSupport hardware bring-up, debugging and system integrationOptimise software performance, reliability and stabilityCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across hardware and softwareContribute to technologies deployed at scale in demanding operational environments Skills You'll ideally have experience with: C and C++PythonEmbedded Linux and/or RTOS developmentBSP, HAL or other low-level embedded software developmentYocto or similar embedded Linux build systems Location: Utrecht, Netherlands Hybrid working with 2–3 days per week in the office Please note: Unfortunately, visa or work sponsorship is not available for this position, so applicants must already have the right to work in the Netherlands If you're looking for an opportunity to work on complex embedded systems where your software has real-world impact, we'd love to hear from you .
