About the role. As a Full Stack Developer, you will work across C#/.NET, React, and TypeScript to deliver secure, scalable, high-performing software for a growing technology platform. You will not be sitting in a narrow backend-only or frontend-only role. This is a genuine full-stack position where your work will be visible across the product, from backend APIs and platform services through to customer-facing interfaces, performance improvements, and new product capability. Working alongside the Engineering Manager, Product Owner, UX Designer, and other developers, you will: Build and maintain features across a modern customer-facing technology platform. Develop backend APIs, services, and integrations using C#/.NET. Build frontend product features using React, TypeScript, HTML, and modern JavaScript. Take ownership of features from solution design through to delivery, release, and ongoing improvement. Contribute to architectural decisions, engineering standards, and technical direction within the team. Write clean, readable, testable, maintainable code. Participate in code reviews and help maintain a high engineering bar across the team. Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and quality across the platform. Work closely with product, design, and data teams to deliver digital experiences that are fast, intuitive, measurable, and built properly. Help the business make smarter use of data, automation, AI-enabled workflows, and modern platform thinking. Care about frontend quality, including performance, accessibility, usability, SEO, and Core Web Vitals. Support multi-region and multi-lingual digital experiences where required. Proactively identify technical debt, edge cases, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve the platform. What we are looking for. Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer or Senior Software Engineer. Solid backend engineering experience with C#/.NET. Strong frontend development experience with React and TypeScript. Experience building and maintaining APIs, services, integrations, and customer-facing product features. A track record of shipping quality software in a product environment with real users. Good understanding of scalable, maintainable software architecture. Strong engineering judgement around edge cases, failure modes, performance, and long-term maintainability. A genuine ownership mindset, with care for what happens after the code is merged. Enough frontend sensibility to care about usability, conversion, performance, polish, and customer experience. A strong interest in data, automation, AI, product improvement, and measurable platform performance. Experience working in a fast-moving technology, SaaS, platform, e-commerce, marketplace, trading, or product-led environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with product, UX, data, and engineering stakeholders. Comfortable working onsite with a collaborative Sydney-based engineering team. Nice to have. Experience with high-traffic customer-facing platforms. Experience with headless CMS or content-driven architecture. Strong technical SEO knowledge, including structured data, crawlability, performance, and Core Web Vitals. Experience with multi-region, multi-lingual, or internationalised products. Exposure to cloud platforms, modern CI/CD practices, and production monitoring. Experience improving frontend performance across Lighthouse, accessibility, and cross-device optimisation. Exposure to AI-enabled product features, automation, analytics, experimentation, or data-led product environments. Background in SaaS, marketplaces, trading platforms, online platforms, e-commerce, or other high-performance digital product environments. The offer. c. $200,000 package all-inclusive. As a guide, this is expected to sit around $160,000 to $180,000 base salary, plus superannuation and bonus, depending on experience and final package structure.
