Role: Mechanical Piping Superintendent Location: Mainland Europe Duration: We are open to full-time permanent and contract positions. Salary and rates: Negotiable, depending on experience. Requirements You will report directly to the Construction Manager/Lead EngineerInvolvement in some or all the following aspects of Mechanical Contracting -Safety, Construction, Quality and Commercial Issues. Development of piping and equipment construction work packsSign off piping test packs for pre-test. Pressure test and post-test activitiesRecording of field welds for weld histories for inclusion within piping test packsOnsite co-ordination between Mechanical and other DisciplinesResponsible for all engineering in a defined area of constructionResolving engineering queries in the fieldWork with MSL piping supervisor to progress construction in their areaWeekly Progress reporting of their specific areaWeekly Variation reporting (Gathering this info from the area supervisor to give it to MSL Cost engineer)Familiarise with scope of MSL contract to monitor possible our potential variation work on siteEnsure equipment is installed correctly within their areaUse of Navisworks 3D model to provide all necessary technical back up to their area piping supervisorEnsuring all material, fabricated pipe spools and supports is on site are required for their area to follow the project scheduleWorking with MSL QA lead to ensure piping systems within their area is handed over to client on scheduleExcellent knowledge of piping isometrics and P&IDs is essentialMin 3-5 years' experience in construction engineering or trade supervisor role Benefits MSL Engineering is an equal opportunities employer committed to ensuring our hiring process is fair and accessible to all to participate in the recruitment process.
