Onsite Test Manager (Azure DevOps Test Plans)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Onsite Test Manager to lead the end-to-end testing activities for a strategic HFM Archiving Project.
The individual will work closely with business stakeholders, finance users, and technology teams to define the testing strategy, create test assets, manage execution, and ensure successful validation of archived HFM data and associated business processes.
The role requires strong expertise in test management, defect management, stakeholder communication, and Azure DevOps Test Plans.
Experience leveraging AI-based testing accelerators for test case generation and optimization is highly desirable.
Additionally, the candidate will support or coordinate the setup and configuration of Azure DevOps Test Plans within the client's Azure tenant to establish a robust test management framework.
Key Responsibilities Test Planning & Strategy
· Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify and document key business test scenarios for the HFM Archiving Project.
· Develop a comprehensive test strategy, test approach, test schedule, and entry/exit criteria.
· Define scope across functional, integration, regression, user acceptance, and data validation testing.
Test Design & Documentation
· Translate business requirements and test scenarios into detailed test cases and test scripts.
· Utilize AI-enabled testing tools and accelerators to improve test asset creation efficiency and coverage.
· Ensure traceability between requirements, test scenarios, test cases, and defects.
Azure DevOps Test Plans Management(this exp is optional )
· Configure and manage Test Plans, Test Suites, and Test Cases in Azure DevOps.
· Establish test execution workflows, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.
· Implement best practices for test governance, traceability, and quality metrics.
· Coordinate Azure DevOps setup activities with client teams and administrators where required.
Test Execution & Defect Management
· Lead end-to-end test execution cycles.
· Coordinate testers, business users, and SMEs during validation activities.
· Log, triage, prioritize, and manage defects through resolution.
· Track retesting and defect closure activities.
· Facilitate defect review and daily test status meetings.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
· Produce daily and weekly test progress reports.
· Track execution metrics, defect leakage, test coverage, and burn-up/burndown reporting.
· Present testing outcomes, risks, issues, and recommendations to project leadership and business stakeholders.
· Provide go/no-go recommendations for test phase completion.
Required Skills & Experience Functional Expertise
· 8+ years of experience in Test Management and QA Leadership.
· Proven experience leading large-scale business application testing programs.
· Experience with Finance, ERP, EPM, Hyperion, or HFM-related projects.
· Strong understanding of data migration, data validation, and archiving projects.
Azure DevOps(execution at front experience with Azure is required )

· Exposure to Copilot, Azure AI, or other GenAI testing accelerators.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
· Experience in Finance and Corporate Reporting systems.
· Azure DevOps certifications preferred.
· ISTQB Test Manager / Advanced Test Manager certification preferred.
· Experience working directly with business stakeholders in onsite environments.
