The Role You will design, build, and operate the scalable services powering an ultra high-throughput ecommerce platform. This includes ownership of architectural decisions, performance optimization, and system reliability at scale, working in Go, Scala, Java, C#, or TypeScript. What You'll Do Design and maintain services handling massive transaction volumeDrive performance improvements that impact latency, reliability, and costOwn production systems end to end, including incident response and on-call rotationContribute to system design reviews and mentor junior engineersApply AI tooling and LLMs to improve engineering velocity What We're Looking For 4+ years of experience building and operating distributed systemsProficiency in one or more of: Go, Scala, Java, C#, or TypeScriptExperience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)Deep expertise in at least one of the following: high-throughput distributed systems, data engineering (Kafka, Spark, Cassandra, Iceberg, Trino), MLOps, site reliability engineering, or web/mobile SDKs at scale Work Arrangement This role follows a hybrid schedule based out of Austin, TX.
