Job Description Senior Product Engineer will lead end-to-end delivery of customer-facing features across payroll, tax, and accounting products. The role requires defining technical approaches, implementing scalable services, and collaborating with product and design to ensure features meet measurable business outcomes. Success will be demonstrated by improved customer metrics, reduced operational load, and platform stability in production. Key Responsibilities Design and implement user-facing features from specification through production deployment.Partner with Product and Design to translate requirements into pragmatic, testable solutions.Lead architecture and code decisions for high-impact product areas.Establish and maintain observability for services to ensure reliability and performance.Drive engineering best practices including code reviews, testing strategies, and documentation.Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and ownership.Operate and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes.Prioritise technical debt reduction while delivering customer value. Requirements Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with product development responsibility.Proven experience delivering end-to-end features and services in production.Strong collaboration skills with Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders.Fluency in two or more of TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python.Hands-on knowledge of testing methodologies, CI/CD, feature flags, and rollout practices.Familiarity with observability tools, SLOs, and incident management procedures.Understanding of authentication/authorization patterns and secure coding basics.Experience applying domain-driven design principles in complex business domains.
