Together, we will increase transparency, improve decision-making, and strengthen the competitiveness of Mercedes-Benz through efficient processes, high-quality data, and cutting-edge technologies.How You Will Contribute· Coordinate material cost increase assessments and bring together Purchasing, Logistics, and key business partners to create clear, reliable results· Keep critical Cost Engineering processes and IT systems running smoothly, while continuously improving them and supporting users through training and guidance· Transform cost-relevant input factors into a strong foundation for cost calculations, business case evaluations, and management decisions· Create and enhance artificial intelligence applications that make cost analysis and calculation smarter, faster, and more effective· Lead cross-center cost analyses that support both strategic priorities and day-to-day operational decisions· Serve as the key contact for project assignments based on vehicle platform and target group, such as Interior, Exterior, and Chassis, while coordinating all Top Parts processed in Romania· Take ownership as the main coordinator for Sourcing Planning Meetings covering components processed in Romania QualifikationenWhat You Bring· University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field· Experience in Cost Engineering is an advantage and will help you quickly create impact in the role· Experience in digitalization initiatives and AI use cases, combined with a hands-on mindset and the motivation to shape better processes· Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Power BI, and data analytics· Curiosity for new technologies and enthusiasm for bringing innovative ideas to life· Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills· Self-driven, structured, and results-oriented working style· Entrepreneurial mindset, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and improve the way we work· Excellent teamwork, communication, and stakeholder management skills What You Can Expect· A technically challenging role where your work creates visible value and supports important business decisions· The chance to influence cost, technology, and supplier decisions in a meaningful way· A collaborative environment where you can work with motivated colleagues across disciplines· Modern Cost Engineering tools and methods, combined with international exposure to supplier and production networksReady to make an impact?
