Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer with 10 years of experience to architect implement and manage secure cloud infrastructure automation frameworks and AIenabled application delivery across multicloud environments This role has a primary focus on Azure and GCP with secondary support for AWS The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Terraformbased Infrastructure as Code CICD Kubernetes DevSecOps Nexusbased artifact management and platform reliability with strong alignment to security compliance and governance standards in regulated environments such as banking and financial services
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
Architect and operate secure scalable and resilient cloud platforms across Azure and GCP while supporting AWS integrations and workloads where requiredDesign and maintain endtoend CICD pipelines using Azure DevOps GitHub Actions Jenkins and cloudnative toolingBuild reusable Infrastructure as Code modules and standards using Terraform with strong state management and deployment governanceDeploy and manage container platforms and workloads across AKS and GKE as primary targets with practical support for EKSOwn enterprise artifact lifecycle management using Nexus Azure Repos GitHub GitHub Enterprise GitHub Actions including repository strategy dependency governance retention and promotion controlsImplement DevSecOps controls including SAST DAST dependency and container image scanning secrets management and policyascodeDefine release strategies environment promotion flows rollback mechanisms and auditready deployment processesEstablish observability standards for logs metrics traces and proactive alerting across cloudnative applicationsLead incident response root cause analysis and reliability improvements to reduce service disruption and improve recovery timesDrive cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices through resource governance rightsizing and utilization analysisCollaborate with security architecture and engineering teams to ensure secure platform patterns and enterprise complianceMentor engineers and drive DevOps best practices automationfirst culture and platform standardization
Your Skills:
10 years of experience in DevOps Cloud Platform Engineering SRE or related rolesStrong handson expertise in Azure and GCP services architecture and operationWorking knowledge of AWS for secondary multicloud support and integration use casesAdvanced experience with CICD tools such as Azure DevOps GitHub Actions and JenkinsDeep Infrastructure as Code expertise with Terraform including module design and lifecycle managementStrong containerization and orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes AKS and GKE preferredMandatory handson experience with Nexus Repository Manager for artifact storage versioning security and pipeline integrationSolid scripting and automation skills in Python Bash and PowerShellStrong cloud security knowledge including IAM RBAC secrets and key management encryption and network security controlsPractical DevSecOps experience with vulnerability management and secure software supply chain practicesExperience implementing monitoring and observability using tools such as AzureMonitor Google Cloud Operations Prometheus Grafana and centralized logging platformsStrong understanding of networking concepts including VNET VPC DNS ingress load balancing and private connectivity patternsProven experience in regulated enterprise environments with strict governance change control and audit requirementsExcellent communication stakeholder management and crossfunctional collaboration skills
