Location: Sydney, Australia - Hybrid
Eligibility: Candidates must have the right to work in Australia (Citizen, PR, Valid Visa holders).
We are seeking an experienced Java API Developer with strong expertise in API development, Microservices architecture, and Payment systems.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building secure, scalable, and high-performance APIs for enterprise applications, preferably within the banking domain.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices using Java and Spring Boot.Build and integrate secure payment solutions with third-party payment gateways and banking systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performing enterprise applications.Implement API security, authentication, authorization, monitoring, and performance optimization.Troubleshoot production issues, perform code reviews, and ensure best practices in software development.
Key Skills Required
7+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices development.Strong experience with Payment systems, payment gateways, or financial transaction processing.Hands-on experience with Spring Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Good knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and API security (OAuth2, JWT).Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle, and Agile development methodologies.
