Java Full Stack Developer- Angular

We're looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong Angular and Spring Boot expertise to join a delivery team at a major Canadian bank in Toronto. The ideal candidate brings end-to-end application development experience across modern frontend and backend technologies and is comfortable working in a structured banking delivery environment. What You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Angular, Node.js, Core Java, Spring, and Spring BootBuild and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services within a microservices architectureDevelop frontend components using Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSPImplement ORM-based data persistence using HibernateWork with relational and non-relational databases including SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and DB2Support DevOps workflows using GitHub, Jenkins, and deployment to PCF or OCP environmentsWork across IDEs such as RAD, IntelliJ, or STS with application servers including WebSphere, Tomcat, and JBossContribute across the complete application development lifecycle from requirements through to deploymentWrite and maintain unit tests using JUnit What You Bring 6 to 8+ years of full stack development experience across frontend and backend technologiesStrong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SOAP, and microservicesSolid frontend experience with Angular, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSPGood working knowledge of Hibernate as an ORM toolExperience with GitHub for source control and Jenkins for DevOps automationWorking experience or sound knowledge of PCF or OCP deployment environmentsSolid database knowledge across SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and DB2Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsEligibility for a mandatory background check Nice to have Prior experience in banking or financial services application developmentFamiliarity with additional application servers such as Apache or JBossExperience working in regulated delivery environments with strict governance standards Work setup Onsite in Toronto, ON, 4 days per weekIn-person interview required6 to 12 month contractEnglish proficiency required
