The Opportunity You’ll join a highly collaborative engineering team, taking ownership of complex technical challenges and contributing to the design and delivery of scalable systems. This role offers real influence; from shaping architecture and best practices to mentoring engineers and driving technical standards across the team. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systemsDevelop APIs and services using TypeScript / Node.js Take ownership of features and systems from concept through to productionContribute to system design and architectural decisionsWork closely with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutionsAdvocate best practices across coding, testing, and system designMentor and support other engineers within the teamContribute to continuous improvement across engineering processes and standards About You 5+ years’ experience in software engineeringStrong experience with TypeScript / JavaScript backend frameworks (e.g. Node.js, Express, Next.js)Experience designing and building RESTful APIsComfortable developing backend code with a strong focus on performance and efficiencyStrong understanding of system design, scalability, and performanceExperience working in Agile development environmentsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing, and collaborative developmentComfortable taking ownership and working in a fast-paced environmentAn early adopter of AI tooling, with an enthusiasm for leveraging emerging technologies to improve engineering workflows Benefits Hybrid workingShare OptionsBrilliant PTO + Birthday OffEnhanced parental leaveL&D budgetPrivate HealthcarePension To find out more about this opportunity, hit Apply or reach out to a member of the Enso Recruitment team today!✉️📞
