Salary: £50–120k (DOE)Hybrid working: 3 days onsite in one of the best office spaces in Northern IrelandTech stack: Go, Java (open to engineers from any high-performing language with cross-training provided)Work on highly complex, real-world cloud security challengesJoin a true engineering-led culture with no egos or politics—just strong collaborationBe part of a high-growth unicorn with genuine long-term career progression The Role As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for: Owning the full development lifecycle – from design and development through to deployment and monitoringMaking technical and architectural decisions that impact high-scale cloud security platformsImproving the performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systemsConducting design and code reviews to maintain high engineering standardsCollaborating closely with Frontend, DevOps, and Security teams About You You’re a great fit if you have: 4+ years of backend development experience in any high-performing languageExperience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Exposure to data-intensive systems (databases, messaging, event-driven systems, etc.)Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practicesExperience working within microservices architectures Bonus Skills (Desirable, not essential) Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, or TimescaleDBUnderstanding of cloud security principles and best practices What’s It Like to Work Here?
