Description

The Application Engineer is leading the execution of application customer projects/benchmarks, commissioning and training related to the product/solution he/she is responsible for. The application engineer supports the AVL customers in the usage of AVL products/solutions in their tasks and environment. The solutions for the customer development tasks are based on AVL portfolios but could be developed and/or customized by using the existing overall system at the customer site. To find out optimal solutions, the application engineer works closely together with the customer, contacts his peer group members for feedback to continuously develop the solution. Customer Project Support Software implementation, configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer technical supportDelivers the optimal solutions satisfying customer demands and/or expectation based on AVL product/solution portfolio as well as customers’ tool-chain environment. Technical Consulting & Collaboration Analyze customer requirements, provide technical solutions, and collaborate with development and project teams Documentation & Continuous Improvement Prepare technical documentation, conduct user training, and share knowledge to improve engineering processes.Provides technical materials/presentation of seminar and demonstration Qualification Requirements Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or related field (preferably engineering background such as mechanical, electrical/electronic, mechatronics, SW engineering, etc.)Self-responsible, systematic and structured operationSystem, product and application basic knowledge concerning AVL portfolioTeam CollaborationInnovative mindsetStructured approach to work, analytical thinking, pronounced social skills and teamwork skillsFluent English (written and spoken) Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or a related fieldEngineering background preferred (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics, Software Engineering)Fluent in English (written and spoken)Self-driven, systematic, and structured in executionStrong team player with a collaborative and innovative mindsetAnalytical thinker with excellent interpersonal skills
