Define, implement, and continuously improve secure configuration baselines for Azure, AWS, Windows, Linux, network infrastructure, and security appliances. Develop practical hardening standards, configuration checks, operational playbooks, and evidence requirements. Monitor the deployment and effectiveness of security controls across the assets in scope. Support and lead projects to strengthen security controls across infrastructure and cloud environments. Identify vulnerabilities and cloud misconfigurations and work with operational teams to remediate them. Review security-relevant infrastructure and cloud changes and support technical risk assessments. Translate identified risks into clear remediation actions, owners, priorities, and target dates. Support the documentation of infrastructure and cloud assets within Asset Management and CMDB platforms. Work with Enterprise and Security Architects to align technical controls with security architecture and company standards. Coordinate with SOC and Incident Response teams to ensure systems generate the telemetry required for monitoring and investigation. Support investigations involving infrastructure, cloud services, network systems, or privileged remote-access tools. Support internal and external security assessments, regulatory reviews, and audits. Produce clear security reporting on coverage, findings, remediation progress, exceptions, and control effectiveness. Work credibly with internal technical teams, business stakeholders, and external suppliers. Requirements At least five years of relevant experience in enterprise cybersecurity, infrastructure security, cloud security, or vulnerability management. Hands-on experience securing infrastructure and cloud environments across Microsoft Azure and AWS. Experience working with hybrid environments, Windows and Linux servers, networking, cloud services, and externally exposed systems. Strong understanding of the complete vulnerability-management lifecycle, including discovery, authenticated scanning, prioritisation, remediation, exceptions, validation, and reporting. Demonstrable experience improving vulnerability-scanning and security-control coverage. Experience identifying and remediating vulnerabilities and cloud misconfigurations in collaboration with operational teams. Strong knowledge of secure configuration management and infrastructure hardening. Experience defining or applying security baselines for Windows, Linux, Azure, AWS, network devices, security appliances, and privileged remote-access tools. Exposure to security technologies such as Qualys, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, ServiceNow, or comparable platforms. Understanding of Asset Management and CMDB processes. Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIS2, CyFun, CIS Benchmarks, secure-by-design principles, and general security-control frameworks. Ability to assess technical findings and translate them into clear business risks and remediation actions. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Experience in regulated or risk-sensitive environments such as life sciences, pharmaceuticals, financial services, or healthcare is considered an advantage. Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, KQL, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, or security automation is highly desirable. Knowledge of AI or LLM platforms, including their secure implementation or practical use, is considered an advantage. Relevant cybersecurity or cloud certifications are welcome but not mandatory.
