Co-Development Business Unit is looking for a Software Quality Engineer This is a fixed term contract role. The engagement is 1 year. Internal Code: A26263 What will you do? We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our internal product development team at MDDI. You will be working on a sophisticated data-driven system with complex workflows that leverage AI models. As part of our collaborative team, you'll be responsible for developing new modules and enhancing existing systems. We value engineers who speak up, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to technical discussions that drive our product forward. Develop and maintain full-stack applications using ReactJS with TypeScript for frontend and Python frameworks (e.g. Django/FastAPI) for backendBuild and enhance modules for our data-intensive system with complex AI-powered workflowsImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitlabDevelop automated testing scripts and quality assurance frameworksCollaborate closely with team members and provide technical insights and feedbackParticipate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions Requirements What are we looking for? At least 3 years of demonstrated experience with full-stack web application developmentExperience working in a development team and with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git)Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, AngularJS) to develop customised front-end components Proficiency with Python web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, etc.) or back-end frameworks (e.g. FastAPI) with preference for Django Understanding of DevOps principles and proficiency with automation of software testing and deployment processes for containerized applications using common DevOps tooling (e.g., Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes) Understanding of software architecture principles, system design, and building resilient distributed systemsExperience making technical decisions that balance performance, maintainability, and business requirements Preferred Requirements Experience with developing application software components (e.g. front-end, back-end) of customised digital solutions that involve a substantial integration of AI and data analytics, including working in multi-disciplinary teams including data scientists and data engineers Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g: OpenTelemetry)Familiarity with Govt ICT&SS Management (IM8) policies, and how to work with it Work Arrangements Hybrid working model: 3 days in office (Wednesday and Thursday, with the third day flexible at the personnel's discretion) as per division policyRequired to attend office meetings even if they fall on work-from-home days (Monday/Tuesday)Working hours: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PMOther arrangements may be discussed and are subject to division approval Benefits What do we offer in return?
