Description

At Mindera, we believe that software is built by people, for people, with high-performance systems that impact users worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Cloud/Platform Engineer with a strong Software Engineering foundation to join an agile team building modern infrastructure and an innovative agentic AI platform. Our core philosophy is simple: Developers first, then Cloud. We want someone who truly understands software development, clean code and engineering best practices, who has transitioned into (or naturally evolved towards) Cloud Infrastructure, Automation, and Platform Engineering. The work will focus primarily on using AWS services with delivery through Terraform and automation in Node.js or Python. The focus will be on our developer platform that our engineering community is using on a day to day basis to deliver and operate hundreds of services on EC2, ECS and Lambda. Some engagement will also support the team to deliver the new agentic platform currently being built with AWS Bedrock AgentCore technology. We value empathy, self-organization and a positive attitude. If you are approachable, communicate clearly and believe that team fit is just as important as technical prowess, you'll feel right at home here. At Mindera we encourage the use of AI to assist with coding and related tasks. We find a persons skill in engineering and software craft, has a big impact long term successful delivery, with or without AI. Our goal in the interview process is to understand the candidates knowledge and skill with engineering. If you need to, or plan to use AI, please be transparent with us when you're using it, to avoid issues and misunderstandings that can either: impact your chance of securing the role or impact your success at Mindera. When you join Mindera we welcome you into a fun and politics-free work culture, built on the principles of lean and self-organisation.
