Contract Duration: 06 months Must have skills: 5+ Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer / Azure DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in YAML-based pipeline automation and CI/CD to build and manage scalable enterprise DevOps platforms.The role focuses on engineering reusable DevOps frameworks, automating release pipelines, and enabling development teams through a self-service platform mindset, aligned with modern platform engineering practices.Azure DevOps engineers are responsible for automating delivery pipelines and managing infrastructure to improve software delivery speed and reliability. Key Responsibilities: CI/CD & YAML Pipeline Engineering Design, implement, and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML).Build reusable pipeline templates and frameworks for enterprise-wide adoption.Automate build, test, release, and deployment workflows across environments (Dev, QA, Prod).Azure DevOps engineers build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate software delivery processes. Platform Engineering (Self-Service) Develop and maintain internal DevOps platforms enabling self-service capabilities for development teams.Standardize DevOps practices, pipeline templates, and release processes.Create developer-friendly onboarding frameworks and automation tools.Platform engineering focuses on building robust platforms and infrastructure to support development teams efficiently. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Implement infrastructure provisioning using: o Terraform / ARM / BicepEnsure infrastructure is version-controlled, repeatable, and scalable.Manage cloud environments across multiple stages. Cloud & Azure DevOps Administration Manage Azure DevOps services: o Azure Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, BoardsConfigure build agents, environments, and release pipelinesOptimize cloud infrastructure performance, cost, and reliability Release Engineering Deployment Strategy Implement deployment strategies: o Blue-Greeno Canary o Rolling deploymentsDefine rollback mechanisms and validation gatesEnsure safe and reliable production deployments Monitoring, Observability & ReliabilityImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting using: o Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, GrafanaIdentify performance bottlenecks and optimize pipeline throughputEnsure high availability and system reliability Security & DevSecOpsIntegrate security into pipelines (SAST, DAST, vulnerability scans)Manage secrets using Azure Key VaultEnforce governance, compliance
