KIDZONET is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team.
You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure across AWS and bare-metal environments, with a strong focus on Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure across AWS and on-premise environments.
Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters (AWS EKS and self-managed).
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab (repository and automation platform).
Build, optimize, and maintain Docker containers and images.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation.
Develop automation scripts and internal tools using Python.
Configure and manage Kubernetes applications using Helm.
Monitor and improve system reliability, security, and performance (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline deployment and delivery processes.
Requirements
Must-have skills:
3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, CloudFormation, S3, RDS, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes — setup, administration, scaling, and troubleshooting.
Solid experience with GitLab as both a Git repository and CI/CD platform.
Proficiency in Docker — building and managing containers, optimizing Dockerfiles, and working with registries.
Experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
Strong scripting skills in Python.
Deep understanding of networking and routing — TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, network security, VPNs, firewalls, and routing protocols.
Experience with Helm for packaging and deploying Kubernetes applications.
Strong knowledge of Linux environments (Debian/Ubuntu/CentOS).
Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Nice to have:
Experience with MetalLB and Kubernetes networking internals.
Understanding of SRE principles and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
Experience in cost and performance optimization on AWS.
Familiarity with DevSecOps and security best practices.
