As part of its continued investment in cutting-edge trading platforms, the firm is expanding its Core Pricing and Risk Technology team to support high-performance, real-time pricing and risk systems that power its global trading operations.
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join a highly visible technology team responsible for building and enhancing the firm's core pricing and risk platform.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working on high-performance distributed systems, and collaborating closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and risk managers in a fast-paced front-office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Core Platform Innovation: Design, build, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency C++ services on Linux that power the firm’s real-time valuation and risk calculation engines.Quantitative Integration: Work directly with pricing quants to integrate complex, cutting-edge quantitative models into production systems with minimal latency overhead.Ecosystem Engineering: Scale and maintain distributed architecture across core trading platform components, including order/trade management, position tracking, and market data ingestion.Front-Office Business Partnering: Collaborate directly with traders, risk managers, and quantitative developers to address live trading requirements, support real-time operations, and drive technical solutions.High-Performance Optimization: Harness modern C++ and Python to continuously enhance system concurrency, memory management, multithreading, and distributed network efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Min 4 years of hands-on experience in developing low-latency, high-throughput applications in modern C++ (C++14/17/20, STL) within a Linux/GCC environment.Strong foundation in multithreading, concurrent programming, distributed system design, and network protocols.Front- or middle-office engineering background in capital markets, quantitative trading, or investment banking platforms.Familiarity with asset classes (Equities, Futures, Options, Swaps) and trade lifecycle mechanics (settlements, corporate actions, reset schedules) is highly preferred.Proficiency in Python for scripting/automation, or experience with GUI frameworks (Qt/WxWidgets/MFC) is an advantage.Possess analytical problem-solving capability, strong ownership mindset.Strong communication skills in English (read and speak) is a must.
