We are currently supporting a project for a Berlin based technology company that requires a dedicated focus on their internal reporting interfaces. As part of this engagement, we are adding a Junior React Developer to our team. This is a permanent, full time position that is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to meaningful work from wherever you are most productive. We prioritize documentation and clean configuration, ensuring that the systems we hand over are reliable and easy for our clients to maintain long after our work is done. The role In this role, you will help build and refine the user interfaces that professional finance teams use to manage their data. You will not be tasked with building flashy or unnecessary animations. Instead, your work will focus on creating functional, high quality components that make complex data sets easy to read and interact with. You will work alongside senior consultants who understand the intricacies of Oracle EPM and modern analytics stacks. This provides an environment where you can learn the right way to build software for enterprise clients who value predictability and accuracy over buzzwords. Because we operate as a remote team, clear communication and thorough documentation are essential. You will be expected to write code that is clean and maintainable, following the standards we have established to ensure our clients receive a product they can truly own. What you will do Develop and maintain web components using React for financial reporting dashboards. Collaborate with senior developers and consultants to translate technical requirements into functional code. Ensure all front end elements are correctly connected to data sources and APIs for accurate reporting. Write clear, helpful documentation for the components and features you develop. Participate in regular code reviews to maintain high standards and learn best practices. Help troubleshoot and resolve bugs within the reporting interface to ensure a smooth user experience. Assist in the final handover process by preparing configuration guides for client teams. Maintain a logical and organized file structure within our shared repositories. Communicate your progress and any technical challenges clearly during team check ins. What you bring We are looking for someone who is diligent, eager to learn, and capable of following established technical standards. You do not need years of professional experience, but you should have a solid grasp of the basics and a desire to build things that last. We value a logical approach to software development and an appreciation for clean data. Basic familiarity with React and a good understanding of its core concepts. Solid foundations in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. An interest in learning how to work with complex data sets and financial reporting tools. The ability to write clear and concise technical notes or documentation. A detail oriented approach to testing your own work before it reaches the team. Familiarity with version control tools like Git. Willingness to receive feedback and adapt your coding style to match project requirements.
