C# Developer

We're looking to add a C# Developer to our team here at Mentor, on a hybrid basis, working out of our Huddersfield office. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions using Microsoft technologies. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code. Required Skills And Experience Strong experience developing applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database development.Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and web services.Experience with Git or other version control systems.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Desirable SkillsExperience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, or Blazor.Knowledge of Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core.Experience with Azure cloud services.Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent commercial experience.Relevant Microsoft certifications are advantageous but not essential.Key CompetenciesStrong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective time management and organisational skills.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work to agreed deadlines.
