Senior Front-End Developer

VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Front-End Developer to support a U.S. Intelligence Agency in Springfield, VA. This position is contingent upon contract award. The Front-End Developer will implement user interfaces for TSSC applications that are intuitive, responsive, and effective. Ensure front-end components meet security requirements and provide optimal user experience for technical security personnel.. Responsibilities Design and implement user interfaces for TSSC applications and analytical toolsDeveloping and maintaining user-facing features using modern front-end technologiesEnsuring the technical feasibility of Ul/UX designs and translating them into high-quality codeDevelop interactive data visualization components for technical security dataCreate responsive web applications for field use by TSSC personnelOptimizing applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.Implement user authentication and authorization interfacesEnsure compliance with security requirements for classified environmentsCoordinate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with APIsOptimize application performance and usability for technical security operationsProvide technical leadership for junior front-end developersDocument front-end architecture, components, and interfacesConduct usability testing and implement improvements based on user feedback Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related fieldMinimum of 8 years of experience in front-end developmentExperience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)Knowledge of HTMLS5, CSS3, and responsive design principlesExperience developing applications for secure environmentsExperience with front-end build tools like Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarnStrong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimizationKnowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handlingUnderstanding of web security best practicesExperience with data visualization libraries and techniquesActive TS with eligibility with SCI Desired Qualifications Experience working with classified systems and security requirementsKnowledge of UX/UI design principles for technical applicationsExperience with technical data visualizationUnderstanding of TSSC operations and requirementsExperience with secure authentication methodsProficiency with TypeScript.Experience with front-end testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.In-depth knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG) standards.Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or Vuex.Experience with GraphQL.Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG) frameworks Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000.00 to $195,000.00 (annualized USD) based on years of experience. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTA's total compensation package for employees.
