Python Developer
On site Birmingham | £45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Benefits
We're recruiting for an experienced Python Developer to join a successful and growing manufacturing business, helping to develop, support and enhance business-critical applications, data platforms, integrations and automation solutions.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving system reliability and delivering solutions that drive real business value.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and support internal applications, APIs, integrations and data pipelines.Troubleshoot and resolve issues across web applications, databases and cloud platforms.Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Contribute to code reviews, testing, CI/CD and release processes.Support the ongoing development of reporting, analytics and AI-enabled solutions.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years' software development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Python, React, TypeScript, SQL, FastAPI, BigQuery, MongoDB and GCP.Experience with APIs, integrations, cloud deployment and data pipelines.Strong SQL and data modelling skills.Knowledge of CI/CD, testing and production support.Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable
SAP ERP experience.Manufacturing sector experience.Exposure to AI, automation and data warehousing solutions.
