Contract (6 Year + Possible extension or FTE)
Pleasanton, CA (REMOTE)
Pay Rate: $39.29-$43.57 an hour on W2 (DOE)
Job SummaryWe are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that solve complex business problems and improve system performance.
In this role, you will collaborate with Product Managers and Technical Leads to build and deploy high-quality applications within the DPC product area.
You will be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and development to testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Leads, and cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.
Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Build responsive front-end applications using React and JavaScript.
Design and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and automate data flows.
Follow secure coding standards and software engineering best practices.
Participate in CI/CD processes and support cloud-based deployments.
Contribute to the successful delivery of high-priority digital initiatives while ensuring long-term scalability and maintainability.
Required SkillsStrong experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, and JavaScript.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with GitHub, ArgoCD, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience deploying applications on Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Experience with REST API integrations, data flow automation, and secure application development.
Understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Preferred QualificationsExperience with Centric PLM, CLO, or other PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tools.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
