We are looking for a talented Business Development Specialist to join our team specializing in Sales for Cummins in Dordrecht, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands . 40 hours - flexibility on site with 60% in office expectations. This position is open to candidates residing in Belgium (the position will then be for the office of Rumst in Belgium) as well as the Netherlands. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Drive aftermarket revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and increasing market share within assigned segments.Build and manage strong customer relationships by understanding client needs, maintaining regular engagement, and positioning tailored solutions that deliver value.Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer challenges, and emerging opportunities, supporting strategic decision-making.Identify and prioritize target markets and accounts through collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams, using data analysis and industry insights.Develop and execute commercial strategies including account plans, proposals, and sales initiatives to win new business and expand within existing customers.Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to align on growth strategies and ensure effective execution.Manage strategic and high-potential customers by understanding their business models, buying processes, and long-term needs to drive sustainable partnerships.Track, analyze, and report business development performance using CRM tools and sales processes, while supporting forecasting and continuous improvement initiatives. To be successful in this role you will need the following: Proven experience in B2B sales and aftermarket environments, with a strong track record of delivering commercial results and revenue growth.Strong technical and commercial acumen, including solid understanding of aftermarket products, services, and industry-specific dynamics.Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and maintain long-term customer partnerships.Advanced analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with experience in market analysis, opportunity identification, and data-driven decision-making.Strong communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English and Dutch (German preferred), enabling effective engagement across diverse customer and internal stakeholders. Education/ Experience College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, sales, technical or a related subject required, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
