Our team is looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer to join the group developing Adobe's Administration Platform — a collaborative and multi-skilled engineering team located in Edinburgh, crafting scalable, high-impact systems that serve millions globally. What You Will Do Compose, build and maintain reliable, scalable UI components and front-end applicationsCollaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end featuresParticipate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedbackContribute to architectural discussions and help build technical directionWrite clean, well-tested, well-documented codeHelp identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability issuesBuild tooling and automation to reduce operational burdensMentor junior engineers and contribute to an encouraging team culture What You Need To Succeed We don't expect you to tick every box — if you're passionate about this role and meet most of the criteria, we encourage you to apply! 2–6 years of professional frontend engineering experienceProficiency in JavaScript and TypeScriptExperience building and maintaining modern web applications using technologies such as Web Components, React, or AngularFamiliarity with web standards, front-end performance and web browser internals (reflow, repaint, shadow DOM, CSS/SCSS, etc.)Understanding of front-end architecture patterns (MVC/Flux/Redux) and component-driven designExperience with CI/CD pipelines and methodologies, including tools such as Argo CDExperience working with monitoring platforms like New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, or GrafanaA collaborative approach and clear written and verbal communication skillsCuriosity, a growth mindset, and a dedication to continuous learning About Adobe Adobe empowers everyone to create through innovative platforms and tools that unleash creativity, productivity and personalized customer experiences.
